• You can wash your car as early as 24 hours after film is installed.
• You can use waxes.  If you do be sure they do not contain dyes, abrasive polishes and/or rubbing compounds.
• 3M recommends 3M™ Synthetic Wax Protectant when waxing your car.
• Remove any wax build-up along film edges with a lint-free cloth.

Unlike vinyl car bras or plastic hood protectors, there is no special maintenance, removal or cleaning required.  

Treat the painted surfaces of your vehicle as you normally would. 

The best way to maintain all of your vehicles finish, whether protected with PPF or not, is to wash it often - weekly if possible.  To the extent you can, keep it garaged and out of the elements.
