Here is the first pre-cut bumper kit we installed Made with the 3M Digital Designs pattern program. 

Before that we used to make paper patterns and scan them or hand digitize them for cutting on our plotter.

 



And some of our Vintage Work Dating back from 2004 as far as 1998 ...
Yep that was before digital patterns.

 

 

We got serious about Paint Protection Film around 1997 and formed NoChip PPF, but before that we installed PPF on Volkswagen Rabbits and Jettas starting around 1982.  It came 4" or 6" wide on rolls back in those days and was called Stoneguard.  We installed it dry (with no slip solution) and trimmed it right on the car.  - We didn't cut the paint back then either.
